One entrance ticket, but the price swings almost six-fold with the season — 7 € in winter, 40 € at the June-September peak. The other thing nobody tells you until they arrive: the famous turquoise pools under Skradinski buk look made for swimming, and swimming there is not allowed.

The single most useful thing this page can tell you: the price is not fixed, it moves with the month.

All entrance prices are from the park's own official price list. The full ticket covers every land site, including Skradinski buk; the cheaper "Roški slap area" ticket covers Roški slap, Kistanje, Manojlovac, Burnum and the Krka Eco Campus, but explicitly does not include Skradinski buk. Groups need a minimum of 20 people and written notice at least 24 hours ahead. Children under 7 enter free, and so do visitors with over 50 percent disability or a European Disability Card, plus one companion.

Afternoon discount, June-September: arrive after 15:00 and the adult price drops to 30 € instead of 40 €, children and students to 11.25 € instead of 15 € — a genuinely useful saving if you're not planning a full day.

What the entrance ticket includes

More than just admission — the transfers that get you to Skradinski buk are built into the price.

The entrance ticket includes the boat transfer between Skradin and Skradinski buk and back, and the bus transfer between Lozovac and Skradinski buk and back, both running from 1 April to 31 October. From 1 June to 30 September it also includes the bus from Laškovica to Roški slap via Bogatići and back. Outside those transfer windows you reach the falls on foot or by your own transport instead.

Skradinski buk itself is the seventh, last and longest travertine barrier on the Krka river, and the longest travertine barrier in Europe. A 1,900-metre, one-way wooden educational trail circles it, weaving over the water on boardwalks between the cascades.

Swimming is not allowed at Skradinski buk

Say it early, because it changes what you pack and where you go.

Important: swimming at Skradinski buk is not allowed, even though the pools beneath the falls look exactly like a natural swimming spot. The rule has been in force for years to protect the travertine formations, but plenty of visitors still turn up with swimsuits and towels expecting to bathe under the waterfalls, and are turned away or fined on the spot.

If swimming in the park matters to your trip, plan around it rather than assuming Skradinski buk will provide it — check current rules for other stretches of the river before you travel, and don't build the day around a swim that Skradinski buk itself will not give you.

These excursions are not part of the entrance ticket and are booked and paid separately, on site or in advance. The Visovac trip is the most popular: it stops at the small island monastery in the middle of the river, one of the most photographed spots in the park. They run seasonally, from March to November, and are worth planning for rather than assuming will be available on arrival in peak season.

Outside the June-September peak, the park is far quieter and the same 1,900-metre trail around Skradinski buk is a much calmer walk. If your dates are flexible, April, May and October give you the same waterfalls at half the summer price and a fraction of the crowd — worth weighing against the warmer swimming-adjacent weather of summer, given that swimming itself isn't on offer at Skradinski buk anyway.
